　　1、事倍功半：不管是新手還是老手陪同口譯譯員，在進行陪同項目之前，請務必認真準備，熟悉需要翻譯的內容，思考可能涉及的相關領域等，可以說準備不充分、翻譯不流暢是口譯員的大敵。

　　1. Half the effort: Whether a novice or a veteran accompanies an interpreter, before carrying out the accompanying project, please be prepared carefully, be familiar with the content that needs to be translated, and think about the relevant fields that may be involved. It can be said that inadequate preparation and poor translation are the enemies of an interpreter.

　　2、介紹人的重要：一般情況下，翻譯公司都會在任務結束后一個月內將費用打到賬戶上，所以除了事先說明是客戶當場付費，否則很少有在一周之內費用到賬的情況。永遠不要拋開介紹人直接聯系客戶。就算介紹人允許你這樣做，你也應該不時匯報一下該項目的情況和進展，否則會給人留下一種“不懂事”或“忘恩負義”的不良印象。另外就是如果口譯項目是別人介紹的，收到錢后一定要通知介紹人一聲，介紹人不求你對他感恩戴德，但起碼應尊重人家的知情權，而且特別是因為中間出現任何問題，往往還需要介紹人出面幫你解決。

　　3、避免遲到：口譯譯員應該比客戶提前15-20分鐘到達，無論如何不應遲到。如果遇到堵車或特殊情況耽誤的情況下，務必打個電話解釋一下。如果是既遲到又聯系不上譯員的情況，比較挑剔的客戶可以當場要求換人。

　　4、注意著裝：跟坐在廂子里的同聲傳譯不同，大部分陪同翻譯項目都是需要露面的，所以應該需要注意著裝，不能隨便搭配，邋遢出場，作為陪同翻譯人員，可能需要跟隨在外賓左右，著裝規范以正式為佳。

　　5、察言觀色：陪同翻譯應該要學會察言觀色，很多時候陪同翻譯要應付的不僅僅只是正式的談判場合，客戶既然雇傭你并支付一天的費用，肯定是希望你在生活的各個方面都給與幫助。比如：客戶看不懂菜譜、找不到洗手間、想要什么東西時，翻譯都應該主動上前詢問是否需要幫助。

　　5. Appreciation of words and expressions: accompanying translators should learn to observe words and expressions.
